Internet of Things Forum

Download informational one-pager

Every business vertical is now using the Internet of Things in some form or fashion to improve production and profitability. IoT is not being driven solely by consumers. Traditional businesses and old-line manufacturing companies are now implementing IoT processes and equipment at a faster rate of adoption than originally forecasted. Greater use of this technology in automobiles, online banking, manufacturing, and retail are just a few examples of how dominant IOT has become in the world of business today. Tech Titans plans to build a program using a network of industry experts to share ideas, exchange information, identify solutions and promote the understanding and implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) in North Texas.

Vision Statement
To position North Texas as a global hub for the IoT innovation.

The Tech Titans IoT Forum will serve business, technology and academic communities through programs that grow and influence a deeper understanding of IoT business value, applications, and use cases. We will promote market opportunities for enterprise through education, technology integration and the recruitment of business stakeholders.

The IoT forum meets the 3rd Thursday of the month from 8 am - 9 am at UT Design. (Members only)

"Using sensors for digital patient engagement"
Featuring Maria Schneider, CEO and co-founder, Dynofit Inc.

The American health care system is in transition.  A key component of the change is shifting more accountability for personal health to the patient and moving longer term patient recovery and rehab into lower cost settings.  Biometric sensors will provide the medical data and cell phones and mobile systems will provide communication and connection to the health care teams in the new paradigm.  This talk will explore the practical uses for sensors in digital patient engagement.
