The ITS Academy allows rising high school students to spend five days on the UT Dallas campus interacting with current Naveen Jindal School of Management information and technology systems (ITS) students and faculty members. Instructors will teach and provide the students with a variety of activities including building a functioning computer, telling dynamic stories using data, visiting two corporate sites, touring the UT Dallas campus, and exploring object oriented programming. Students will learn a vast amount of new information about the field and be able to plan their college careers in ITS in an easy and more educated manner. ITS more than you think!
Students develop real-world tech skills and experience firsthand how interests can turn into a college degree and future career. Led by hip, tech-savvy instructors, kids and teens code apps, design video games, mod with Minecraft, engineer robots, build websites, produce films, and more. Courses contain only 8 students per instructor, while participants develop an online portfolio and debut their final project at the end of the week. Check out the STEM programs and register here.
